Candle Care
When you light your candles for the first time, allow the wax to burn until it melts across the entire surface to the sides of the container. This prevents tunneling and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle's life. This may take up to 2-4 hours.
Never burn your candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
Trim the candle wick after each burn. This will prevent the candle from smoking on the next burn or from burning the sides of the glass. We recommend trimming the wick to 1/4 of an inch each time.
We recommend keeping the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris at all times.
To maximize scent throw, burn in desired space for 30 minutes with the door closed. Open windows and doors will disperse the scent.
Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place. Avoid placing the candles where they will be directly exposed to sunlight.
We would love to see how you re-purpose your Crown Candle jars. When 1/4" of wax is left, discontinue use of your candle. You can then place the candle in a warm oven and allow the wax to liquefy, dump the wax, wipe out the wax and use soap and water to remove any additional residue. Our jars can hold small items, flowers, makeup brushes, etc.
